We are pleased to announce that the Verlab Institute hosted the first working meeting of the EU COST project titled "3Rs concepts to improve the quality of biomedical science - IMPROVE" from June 5th to 7th, 2023. The meeting was attended by over 100 participants from various European countries.
The aim of the EU COST project 'IMPROVE' is to establish a network that will work on enhancing, harmonizing, and promoting data, documents, and 3Rs concepts to improve the quality of biomedical science. The project encourages collaboration among researchers, institutions, and stakeholders with a focus on 3Rs concepts, data, and documents.
The main purpose of this project is to enhance the overall research process and ensure its validity, reliability, and ethical responsibility. Through the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices, the participants will contribute to the development of new guidelines and recommendations for implementing 3Rs concepts in biomedical science.
This working meeting marks the beginning of a long-term engagement and collaboration among researchers and institutions across Europe to advance the quality of biomedical science. We believe that the outcomes of this project will have a significant impact on the research community and the broader public, promoting an approach that is responsible towards animals, humans, and nature.

Sa zadovoljstvom objavljujemo da je Verlab Institut, u periodu od 5. do 7. juna 2023. godine, bio domaćin prvog radnog sastanka EU COST projekta pod nazivom "3Rs concepts to improve the quality of biomedical science - IMPROVE". Sastanku je prisustvovalo više od 100 učesnika iz većine evropskih zemalja.
Cilj EU COST projekta "IMPROVE" je uspostaviti mrežu koja će raditi na usavršavanju, harmonizaciji i promovisanju podataka, dokumenata i 3Rs koncepata u cilju poboljšanja kvaliteta biomedicinske nauke. Projekt podstiče saradnju između istraživača, institucija i zainteresovanih strana s fokusom na 3R koncepte, podatke i dokumente.
Glavna svrha ovog projekta je poboljšanje cjelokupnog istraživačkog procesa i osiguravanje njegove valjanosti, pouzdanosti i etičke odgovornosti. Kroz razmenu znanja, iskustava i najboljih praksi, učesnici će doprinijeti razvoju novih smjernica i preporuka za primjenu 3R koncepata u biomedicinskoj nauci.
Ovaj radni sastanak predstavlja početak dugoročnog angažmana i saradnje između istraživača i institucija širom Evrope u cilju unapređenja kvaliteta biomedicinske nauke. Verujemo da će rezultati ovog projekta imati značajan uticaj na istraživačku zajednicu, ali i na širu javnost, promovišući pristup koji je odgovoran prema životinjama, ljudima i prirodi.
