She emphasized that digitization is essential for businesses to be ready for both local and international markets.
This event is organized within the framework of the project "Innovations and Digitalization of Small and Medium Enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina / EU4DigitalSME," co-financed by the European Union (EU) and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of the Federal Republic of Germany (BMZ). The project is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and aims to create a conducive environment for small and medium-sized enterprises to undergo successful digital and innovation transformation, as well as to comprehensively improve the ecosystem for innovation and digitalization in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The digital transformation of the healthcare system in Bosnia and Herzegovina is ensured by the "Its4Health HUB," shaping a mechanism that will securely, transparently, and efficiently provide medical services. Representatives of the "Its4Health HUB" spoke about the DIH aimed at raising awareness and advocating for the acceptance of digital and green transformation in healthcare, providing the adoption of digital skills by healthcare workers, creating innovative medicine, technological solutions, and increasing the efficiency of the healthcare sector in the country.
"We are, in a way, part of the research team in this field. For us, it is an honor and privilege to contribute to the digitization of the healthcare sector and thus be part of the transformation that is already absolutely present worldwide," said Prof. Dr. Belma Ramić – Brkić, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Systems at the University SSST and representative of Its4Health HUB.
The European Union and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany, through the project "Innovations and Digitalization of Small and Medium Enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina/EU4DigitalSME," support innovative technologies, skills, and services, contributing to creating a favorable business environment for the technological transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises in competitive sectors in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
