Dr. Adna Ašić, a research associate at Verlab Institute and the sole representative from Bosnia and Herzegovina, participated in the annual meeting of the COST European Cooperation in Science and Technology Action CA22112: European Network for Livestock Phenotyping (EU-LI-PHE). Hosted by the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences at the University of Bologna, the event took place from June 18 to 21, 2024.
During a special session at the annual COST meeting, Dr. Ašić, serving as a member of the Management Committee and moderator, had the honor of presenting ten young researchers and innovators. These promising scientists showcased their groundbreaking research in livestock phenotyping, offering valuable insights and advancements in the field.
The event proved to be an exceptional opportunity for networking and collaboration among experts, fostering discussions on future developments and shared activities within the European phenotyping network.
Training school held at the Flanders Research Institute for Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food (ILVO) in Belgium, this training session from June 18 to 21, 2024, focused on the technologies of phenotyping major livestock species.
Amra Džuho, a senior expert associate at Verlab Institute, represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at this prestigious training. This experience allowed her to enhance her knowledge and skills in phenotyping technologies, a critical area for improving livestock management and productivity.
